Testimonials

Larry Dillon of Larry Dillon Painting, Millis, Massachusetts (508) 376-5599 "I have had The DorRAK since 1998, within two years I did about 30 homes with at least 35 doors each. The DorRAK had earned back what I paid for it by the sixth (6) house I did. Within 2 years The DorRAK has paid for itself 5 times over. It is easy to transport to a job site, setup, use, saves time and space. One (1) man can operate The DorRAK, and there is no need for touchups." (Return on investment within the first 200 doors)

Steve Martin of Steve Martin Painting Service, Yakima, Washington (509) 457-2975, cell: (509) 949-4597; RDHDPNTR@aol.com "My DorRAK system has worked great, the system has delivered as promised. Did 440 doors with the system, and am very pleased with the results. The 400 doors I did were in a plastic spray booth on site in an underground parking area. I used fast dry eggshell enamel and the production rates were awesome.

I also used the rack as a drying rack for the 16' long by 3" wide base/trim using cardboard slats that separated the BI-fold doors. They were part of packaging. They fit perfectly through the slots on the DorRAK Clamp Uprights, and so as one level filled, we simply inserted more slats and built up higher.

We got approx. 180 pieces per load, and with a 4 hr. dry to hardness time, were able to get 2 racks per day. (Total of 5760 linear feet of trim per day) Simple, efficient, and a sure fire labor saver. Having two structures to work, the fact that we could roll the complete unit from one parking garage to another was a huge help.

We also broke down the system, transported it to another job site, packed it up to the second floor, re assembled it, and then did (24) 8' solid core birch doors. We did 12 at a time, and the weight was a concern until I saw how well the system handled these doors. The general contractor was impressed, and the doors turned out beautiful.

Those out of town jobs are now complete; I still have the system, and will consider the next job to be an above purchase cost profit job for your DorRAK.

Thanks for building something strong enough to work, cost effective to transport, and reliable enough to depend on.

Good Job."

Joe, Hingham, MA "the job would take 100 hrs, for 155 doors without the DorRAK then it would take 60 hrs with the DorRAK. That's 40 hrs saved times $35/hr = $1,400. At18 doors/day, 4 coats urethane w/sand between, which = 90 doors per week."

Matt Huml of A. Huml & Sons, Elkhorn, Wisconsin (262) 248-1058 "the DorRAK works great. It is ideal for apartment buildings with 6-8 doors each. 30% of our business is apartment buildings with industrial enamel coatings. We can use less skilled workers to spray the doors. All we do is set up a plastic spray booth on site and put the doors on the DorRAK and spray. The heavy duty of the DorRAK is good for the apartment doors. We do a lot of high-end work and with the DorRAK we get a great quality finish on the doors. All painting of doors is done on site."

Dagmar Alexanersson of Dax Studio, Los Altos, CA (650) 964-6071, Your " DriRAKTM" could not have worked out any better! After having created a spray room in the garage, it was just an easy step for the paint crew to divide the working area one more step: the drying room! With the " DriRAKTM" and a heater inside, it took a fraction of the space and time it normally would need to do the job ("old" drying methods.) I already told my faux finish colleagues about your product. I bet you will see more customers after I also send them some photos. Thanks again

John Ringlever of John Ringlever Painting Co; "My DriRAKTM paid for itself in one job. I was thinking of not taking anymore kitchen cabinet repaints until I used the DriRAKTM, now I plan to take on more cabinet jobs. I did a previous job with 40 cabinet doors using saw horses and buckets, 3 tiers, in a 10' x 20' tent I set up as a spray booth and drying area. This last job I did 50 cabinet doors with the DriRAKTM and it was fantastic and I did not need to use the tent."

Rick Robinson of Rick Robinson Painting; "I put an entire house of trim & molding on one TrimRAKTM."

Marc Snow of Snow Country Decorating, Harbor Springs, MI, (231) 526-5317: I am averaging 100 six-panel doors per month since we bought our 18-door DorRAK Vertical Mobile System in 2000. The DorRAK has increased production so that I have changed how I cost spraying doors. It has been a fantastic addition to our shop.

Darrell May of Smith Painting, Scottsdale, AZ, (480) 948-3841 ext 111: "We have used the DorRAK Horizontal Spray-n-Dry Painting System in the shop and on the jobsite and it works great either place. Since we received it in February 2004 we have sprayed 100 doors with it. In those 100 doors we have found the system cuts production time and saves 25% labor costs or about $13.50 per door. We see that this system will pay for itself within 200 doors. We also have found that spraying the doors horizontally and setting them to dry flat improves the quality of the job by 50%. The finish is shinier, smoother, with no shadows on the inside corners. I would recommend the DorRAK to anybody; it was definitely worth the money and a great value for the price. I went to the PDCA show this March 2004 in Las Vegas and found that your DorRAK Painting System was 10 times more efficient, was of a greater quality, and better value than the competitive products at the show."

Bill Irvin of Recovery Painting, Verona, Pennsylvania (412) 795-7812 commented: The DorRAK worked fine and paid for itself. We put heavy and lightweight doors and it was a great time saver.

Conrad Brown of Rocky Mountain Services, Steamboat Springs, Colorado (970) 879-8202 said about The DorRAK 18 door System: After seeing it at the PDCA show in Reno, NV in March 1999, I came home and ordered a 18-door system. Within 2 months my DorRAK paid for itself.

Jim Barron of Barron Painting, Inc, Lynden, Washington (360) 354-3174 commented: Bought an 18-door DorRAK system and used it on 100+ exterior solid core doors. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend it. It was definitely worth the money.

Jim Madison of Fillmore Associates, Inc, Minneapolis, Minnesota (612) 627-9871 commented: Bought an 18-door DorRAK system in 2000 and used it in our shop. I am happy with it and feel it was worth what I paid for it. We average up to 20 solid and hollow core doors per week and would recommend it.

David Hazlett of DLK Painting, Mt. Vernon, Indiana (812) 838-3520 "Before we bought our DorRAK 10 door System we would spray doors on saw horses in the shop and it would take us 2 days to do 4 doors with stain and varnish (4 coats, of which 2 are top coats). With the 10 door DorRAK we now do all 4 coats on 10 doors in one day. This includes sanding between coats, while on the DorRAK. We are also able to do the 3-0 door frames on the DorRAK as well."

Wes Deane of Highland Builders, Tiverton, Rhode Island (401) 625-1667 "Since we bought our DorRAK 10 door System in 2002 we use it all the time to spray doors. We have had no problems with it and would recommend The DorRAK because it was definitely worth the investment."
